mattMatthew Norris

Matt is a Pure Math and Economics double major with special interests in Linear Algebra and Econometrics. He spent last summer at The London School of Economics studying Econometrics and this summer as a researcher at USC’s Program for Environmental and Regional Equity (PERE), where he used statistical programming to analyze extremely large datasets to provide a quantitative backbone for reports promoting social justice in Southern California.


ConnieConnie Chen
VP of Academic Programs

Connie is graduating with a degree in Business Administration and a minor in Statistics. She’s well-versed in R, Matlab, and Stata, and was a ferocious competitor in the last two years of Datafest. Along with Yawei, Connie helped form and execute plans for member education.

VP of External Programs

As VP of External Programs, Amber coordinated with data science leaders and research professionals to run workshops on statistical methods and provide insights into data analytics. At the same time, she spearheaded career events to connect ASC members with working professionals and enriched the club experience with IT & business analytics. In addition, Amber has a double major in Economics and IRGB. She will be joining Ernst & Young as an IT consultant upon graduation.


SriRameshSri Ramesh
VP of Community Relations

Sri served as Vice President of Communications this year for ASC. She is graduating with a BA in Economics and minors in International Relations and Statistics. She is interested in metrics and program evaluation of anti-poverty programs. This summer, she will join Summit Consulting in DC as part of the Federal Credit Modeling and Forecasting team.



Yawei Suo
VP of Academic Programs

Yawie has been a vital part of ASC’s direction the past two year. She’s graduating with a double major in Economics and Applied and Computational Mathematics. Along with Connie, she helped guide many of our initiatives to expose our membership to research methods and opportunities.
